Women Association OF ESOCS Church, NHAC Gets New Chairperson

The Women wing of the Eternal Sacred Order of the Cherubim and Seraphim church (ESOCS), National Headquarters Annex Cathedral (NHAC), Garki Abuja, on sunday, 3rd October adopted Mother In-Isreal (Arc) Nne Patience Osunkwo has its new chairperson following the exit of the former chairperson due to officially engagement outside the country.

Performing the handover ceremony in the church Cathderal in Abuja, the former chairperson, Her Eminince Mother Cordelia Wilson said the ceremony becomes imperative to ensure continuity, growth and development of the women wing following her exit to outside country for official engagement.

According to her,women wing of ESOCS Church, National Headquarters Annex deserves to have the best and right candidate person that will ensure growth of the entire women and as well, surpass present achievements recorded during her tenure.

” And i found these qualities in the person and life style of Mother Patience Osunkwo who also served as the vice chairperson during my reign.

She however called on all women to render maximum support to her adding that on unity lies the strength of the organization which ensures greater achievements.

” while i commend and thank all of you for the great and immense support given to me during my tenure, i sincerely appeal to you all to extend the same to her also. You all know that God’s work must continue no matter who is involved at the helms of affair and so since it has pleased God to take me to another height in life and outside the country, another person must take over and ensure God’s work continues.

“So i beg all of you to come together in love and in peace so that you can achieve greater goals more than what we have now.

She however pledged total support to the women activities and prayed God to bless everyone in the Association as well as the church.

In her acceptance speech, Mother-In-Isreal Patience Osunkwo pladged total dedication in the task ahead and promised not to fail in God’s assignment as well as upholding the tenants of the church.

She however appealed for members maximum cooperation to ensure greater achievements.

Mother Patience Nne Osunkwo is a renowned Architect by profession and a retired Director, special public works Department of National Directorate of employment (NDE) headquarters Abuja.
Because of her outstanding qualities, hardworking and commitment to her duty,a special recommendation was given to her by National Directorate of employment and she was promoted and moved from Akwaibom state to the national headquarters of NDE Abuja.
Patience Osunkwo has served and supervised several committees of government and few of them are:
-Vice Chairman, state coordination and implementation committee of SURE-P., Akwaibom state.
-Member of Akwaibom state labour and productivity award committee.
-Chairman, 774 local government jobs central working committee Abuja.
Mrs Patience Osunkwo is a technocrat and a woman of proven integrity and a member of several associations, some of which are:
_ Member, Nigeria institute of Architects (NIA)
_ Member, Female Architects of Nigeria
_ Member,Nigeria institute of Management
_ Fellow, institute of industrial and cooperate administrators.

She has also received so many awards in recognition of her selfless service to humanity and some of them are;
_Award of excellence by the Inspector General of police for reducing crime and creating jobs for youths in Akwaibom state through her direct supervision in NDE as a state coordinator.
__ United Nations award as a peace ambassador.

Inspite of all her achievements in life,Mrs Osunkwo remains a humble and obidient wife and a good mother to her children and it’s of little surprise when she and her husband were honored by the Anambra state government as the best couple of the year,2010.

A sociable woman, an embodiment of splendor, humor, humanity, beauty and glamour, Mrs Osunkwo understands and speaks several local and international languages which includes English, Italian, Spanish among others.
