NAWOJ set to mark her 32nd Anniversary in Abuja.

The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ) will on Thurseday, 24th February 2022 mark her 32nd Anniversary celebration with the theme ” Leadership With A Difference; Setting the Pace for A Better Future”.

The event which is billed to take place at the International Conference Center, (ICC) Abuja is expected to attract members of the Association from the 36 State of the Federation including FCT among other great personalities and dignatries within and outside the country.

This is contained in a circular dated 10th Feb 2022 written by the National Secretary of the Asociation, Mrs. Helen Udofa and address to all National officers, State Chairperson and Secretaries as well as other delegates.

According to her, the anniversary is billed to take place from Wednesday 23rd to Friday, 25th Feb 2022 in Abuja.
She however enjoined all delegate to arrive Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory on wednesday, 23rd February to attend the event and prayed for the sucess of the programme.

In her words “The National Secretariate of NAWOJ wishes every member journey mercies to and from Federal Capital Territoy, Abuja while also praying for the sucessfull hosting of this important event.

Her Excellency, Dr. (Mrs)Aisha Buhari is the special guest of honour while Professor Umaru Pate, Vice Chancellor, Federal University, Kashere, Gombe State is the guest speaker.

Highlight of the event include launch of an endowment fund for the girl-child in Nigeria.
